PassKey

Systemrequierments:

• KeePass musst be installt.

• A supported browser must be available.

If no database has yet been created in KeePass, this must be done first.

Open the database settings.

Select the „Browserintegration“ option and enable the top checkbox („Browserintegration aktivieren“). Then select the browser of your choice.

Next, continue in the selected browser. First, add the KeePass plugin if it is not already installed.

Search for KeePass in the add-ons.

The KeePass window should then appear similar to this. The appearance may vary depending on the browser used.

Click „Hinzufügen“.

After adding, click the puzzle icon and then the gear icon (settings).

Then click the three dots and open the „Einstellungen“.

In the settings, scroll down to the „Passkeys“ section. Enable passkeys there and save the changes.

Next, connect the browser to KeePass by opening the extension and clicking „Verbinden“.

Then select a name in KeePass and click „Speichern“.

Next, open Duo and add a new device.

In the „Gerät hinzufügen“ window, select the „Sicherheitsschlüssel“ option.

Then click „Einem bestehenden Eintrag hinzufügen“.

After that, click „Registrieren“.

A passkey should now appear on the left side, which can be renamed if desired.
